Now through Dec. 15 - The Market Common Annual Holiday Bazaar. Enjoy a festive holiday market with seasonal craft vendors, live greens, and fresh food on Howard Avenue at The Market Common! The Holiday Bazaar will be held from 12 PM to 4 PM every Saturday, November 3rd through December 15th. Come by and support local businesses at the Holiday Bazaar at The Market Common.

Nov. 17 - 6 - 8 PM Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. There will be a trackless train for the children on Deville Street as well as a balloon artist, carnival games and inflatables on Reed Street. The stage events in front of the Grand 14, will offer an array of holiday music by the Carolina Master Chorale and Vocal Edition, followed by Santa! He will use his magic to light the tree and then be in his sleigh in front of The Grand 14 and available for pictures and to visit with the children.  Bring your chair to sit and listen to music while the kids play and visit with Santa! As part of the tree-lighting festival, we’ll have complimentary carriage rides on Saturday evening, November 17th, from 6 PM – 9 PM.  They will pick up and drop off in front of Dolce Lusso Salon.Come enjoy the magical experience of the tree lighting at 8 PM, and a leisurely carriage ride through The Market Common.

December 4th through 20th-– Every Tuesday & Thursday, 6 PM – 8 PM December 20th front of Grand 14 Cinema Every Tuesday & Thursday, 6 PM – 8 PM Free! Take your children’s or pets’ photos with Santa in his sleigh beside The Market Common Christmas tree in front of the Grand 14 Cinema.  He will be there  6 to 8 PM each week on Tuesday and Thursday from December 4th to  December 20th (for free).  Hundreds of children lline up each year at our tree lighting to be photographed with this Saint Nick. Now you can bring your pets too!

A 1970’s-inspired donut shop is open in The Market Common. People can feed their inner hippie at Peace, Love & Little Donuts. The donuts at the shop, located at 3020 Nevers Street beside Orvis, come in 3 categories: Groovy toppings, Far Out Frosting (single topping or frosting) and Funkadelic which boasts flavor combinations such as Maple Bacon and Raspberry Lemonaid.

Children's Park Improvements. You can take advantage of the upgrades at the children's park, across the bridge from The Market Common stores. Improvements include an area with rubberized surface for the existing playground and more.

My photos The 2nd annual Myrtle Beach Highland Games & Heritage Festival was held March 25, 2017 in the Grand Parsk Athletic Complex. Hoghland Games are popular throughout the Carolinas and are renowned for their outstanding entertainment, top Scottish musicians, professional athletes, and champion bagpipe and drum bands from all over the Southeast.
