The first time I set foot inside and
said that I was gluten free, they handed
me a separate menu and said that they
cater to over 12 different food allergies. I
almost cried! The serve all gluten-free
dishes on specially marked plates and
they even gave me gluten-free soy sauce
to add to the assortment of condiments.
My favorite dish? It’s the Spicy Chicken,
hands down!
#2: Scatori’s Italian Restaurant
Chef Kevin Levine is a master! He can
take almost any of the dishes and pre-
pare it gluten-free, all you have to do is
ask. I love all of the risotto choices that
can be served in place of pasta, especial-
ly the mushroom risotto. The food is
amazing and I never have to worry
about what I am eating there.

#3: Mellow Mushroom
Pizza and beer! Need I say more?
Finally, I can go out on Sunday’s to
watch Football and eat and drink like a
“normal” person. They have really great
gluten-free pizza with more toppings
that you can imagine. They serve a few
different gluten-free beverage options as
well. I love this place!

#4: Barefoot Barista
Crepes, muffins, cakes, cookies and
more. I was overjoyed when I found the
Barista! I love crepes and the other crepe
locations had no gluten-free options.
Now, I go to the South end just for a
crepe and some delicious coffee! It’s a bit
of a drive for me, but totally worth it!

#5: Travinia
I love that more and more Italian
Restaurants have gluten free menus.
Travinia is the first one that I found that
offered gluten-free pasta. This is where
like to eat an amazing meal before going
to see a movie.

#6: Bonefish Grill
I love the variety of options available
on the gluten-free menu, including the
sauces you can choose to top your
entrée. I especially love the trout. You
can’t go wrong with seafood!

#7: Nacho Hippo
Mexican/Southwestern is almost
always a safe bet. Corn is thankfully
gluten-free, so tacos and corn chips with
salsa, are a great way to go. I love the
different tacos at Nacho Hippo and their
salsa is great! Add in a margarita and
you are set to go.

#8: Bay Naturals
This is a must not only for gluten-free
diners, but for the health-conscious as
well. They offer different specials and
soups daily, as well as gluten-free baked
goods. The carrot cake is so good!

#9: Black Thai
I absolutely love Thai food. I can even
say it may be my favorite cuisine. Thai
food is great for gluten-free diners. They
offer rice noodles or brown rice with
your entrée. They don’t use flour as a
thickener, the food is always as spicy as
you want it and full of flavor.

#10: Gordon Biersch
The Market Common
